Have you ever asked yourself, " Why do we need to take care of the environment?" Well the question has a quite simple answer. God gave us the Earth so that we could live on it and show our love for others and to be Christians, now is dumping gas or oil being a Christian or being a Steward of Creation? Harming any thing of God's creation is most definitely NOT being a Christian. Just being nice to people and loving one another doesn't mean that you shouldn't care for animals, plants, national forests, and or anything else God has created. Make a difference, be a Steward of Creation.

This really inspires people to help the earth and you're right that when we are harming God's creation its not being a christian.

I believe that when you do ask yourself "Should i pick that up?" i believe your a christian because when you think of something like the earth and not about yourself you are one of God's Stewards of creation to help the earth.
